Our Unit 5 studios in Birmingham are purpose-built for remote production: a dedicated Vmix suite backed by gigabit leased-line internet, with a 5G connection standing by if the primary line ever drops, and both UPS and generator power behind that. It's the redundancy of a broadcast facility, not a spare room with a laptop.
Presenters get a private login area to join from — a "greenroom" — with a single presentation clicker, so joining and presenting feels as simple as clicking through slides, whatever is happening behind the scenes on our end.
The studio scales from a handful of presenters up to fifty, and can be linked directly to our on-site Film Studio for productions that need in-person and remote elements filmed together.
